Jamie Corbin CD(DONA)
Jamie became a mom nearly five years ago and quickly became passionate about supporting other parents as they made the same transition. She has been attending births for three and half years, with intermittent breaks to grow her own family to include three daughters under the age of five.
When it comes to birth work, Jamie's primary focus is on helping her clients understand how to advocate for themselves so that they can make informed choices about their family's care. She listens carefully to hear the underlying needs of her clients and works diligently to meet those needs. Because of this she has found herself serving in a range of ways, all the way from background support person to primary support person, in a variety of experiences ranging from home birth to cesarean birth. Because of the busy family life season Jamie is in, and the spontaneity of birth work schedules, Jamie is only scheduling birth clients for 2019. However, she is currently available for scheduled childbirth education and placenta encapsulation services. If you are interested in chatting with Jamie about working together, she offers a free consultation and never turns down an opportunity to spend time in a coffee shop. |
