Leanna Slater

Leanna Slater is a birth doula serving families throughout the Treasure Valley. Born and raised in Alaska, she moved to Idaho in 2022 with her twin daughters to be closer to her two sisters, one of whom is also a birth doula. Her own journey into motherhood as a single parent deeply informs her work, giving her compassion and empathy for the challenges families face. Leanna is known for her calm, grounding presence and her dedication to helping parents stay connected and supported throughout the intensity and beauty of birth. 

Hi, I’m Leanna. I became a doula because I know how transformative and vulnerable the experience of birth can be. My role is to offer steady, nonjudgmental support so you can feel safe, informed, and connected as you welcome your baby. I believe birth is not just about bringing a new life into the world, but also about honoring the growth and strength of parents. It is always my joy and privilege to walk alongside families in this powerful season of life.
