Kristin Hernandez is a DONA International trained birth doula currently working toward her certification. She attends hospital, birth center, and home births. Her experience in teaching, mentoring, and mothering her own three children has all contributed to her passion for providing nurturing, empowering support to expecting mothers and families as a doula.
Hello, and congratulations on your pregnancy! Expecting a baby is such a special and sacred time in your life, and I’m honored to be considered as your doula. My passion for supporting mothers was birthed in part through my own experience becoming a mother to my three daughters. I was fortunate to have an amazing doula for all three births, and my husband and I experienced firsthand the invaluable gift of knowledge, support, and empowerment our doula offered. I also grew up hearing of my own mother’s experience of birthing without fear, which inspired me to believe that a positive birth experience was possible. We all come into pregnancy and birth with a myriad of beliefs and experiences, and I believe every woman deserves a supported, empowered birth, no matter her past or present. I would love to walk with you through this important transition in your life - becoming a parent! My husband and I have been married since 2012, and we have three amazing daughters. We moved to Boise from Northern California in 2021, and we love living in Idaho and biking anywhere we can. I love tea and coffee, a long walk, and a really good book. I would be delighted to meet you! |
