Haylee is a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International, a Hypnobabies Trained HypnoDoula, a Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist through Brilliant Birth Academy, and a trained Postpartum Doula. She is passionate about helping families feel empowered during their birthing time no matter how or where they choose to birth. This is such a special and sacred time and Haylee truly feels honored to be welcomed into your birthing space. Having supported over 70 births over the last 7 years, Haylee is a very experienced doula and more than prepared to help you have a positive birth journey. She is a co-owner of Boise Birth Village with fellow doula, Sharina Jensen CD(DONA), CLC and they work as a team to help provide comprehensive and compassionate care to families in the Treasure Valley.

Each birth and each family are unique and as your doula, it’s one of my goals to get to know what “birth support” looks like for YOU! As an experienced doula, I give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum time. I work in a doula team with my wonderful doula partner, Sharina Jensen. This unique model allows us both to get to know you equally and greatly reduces the chances that you’ll get a backup doula who you do not know and doesn’t know you. We both specialize in meditative birthing and creating a peaceful relaxing birthing environment. DONA Certified Birth Doula Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypno Doula Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist Trainings: DONA Postpartum Doula Training: May 2023 DONA International Doula Training: February 2017 Spinning Babies Workshop 2021 Services: Birth Doula Package : $1199 Includes 2 Prenatal Visits to discuss birth preferences and have a birth rehearsal, unlimited prenatal support via phone support and text, continuous birth support, 1 postpartum visit, 1 additional postpartum visit focused on lactation Consultation: Schedule your free consultation so we can get to know each other better! This is your time to ask any questions about doula support and how it looks like in practice. Booking: Once you decide you'd like to hire us, we will send you your digital contract and invoice. Simply pay the down payment to reserve your spot and we will go ahead and schedule our first prenatal visit. At this point we start a group text as well so we can answer any questions you have throughout your pregnancy Prenatal Meeting #1: Within the comfort of your own home, we will discuss your birth preferences and answer any questions. This is a good time to clarify how you're really feeling about labor and birth and what your birth vision is. This meeting occurs around week 30-32 of your pregnancy Prenatal Meeting #2: Between weeks 33-36 we will meet again at your home for a Birth Rehearsal where we will practice comfort measures and birth positions. We will walk you and your partner through the birth process and make sure your partner feels confident in supporting you! If you are a Hypnobirthing client, we will practice all of the wonderful techniques that you have been learning. Birth: From the time you call, you have unlimited access to doula support until you're settled in after delivery (around 2 hours post-delivery). Whichever doula that is on call will join you at home or your place of birth and help you have the birth of your dreams. Postpartum Visit: Within the first two weeks, your birth doula will come to your home to check on your wellbeing. Ask any questions about infant feeding, sleeping schedules, or just take the time to debrief your birth and discuss this new world of motherhood. Postpartum Visit #2: This visit is focused solely on lactation and will be done with Sharina, who is an experienced Certified Lactation Counselor. Ask questions, get hands-on support, and find resources. This visit can be called in anytime in the first year of your baby’s life, day or night. Placenta Encapsulation: $250 Includes a cooler kit for easy placenta transport, placenta pickup, your encapsulated placenta, a placenta print or cord keepsake and product delivery. Other placenta products include: Tinctures and Balms (can be added on for additional fee)
