Heather Schultz CD(DONA) PCD(DONA)

Heather Schultz is a DONA International certified birth doula and a DONA trained postpartum doula who has a passion for supporting women and their families during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. She has served her doula clients in various settings, from home, to birth centers, to hospitals, and has helped them achieve the birth they envision. She also offers education, encouragement, and assistance to new parents as they adjust to their new life with their baby.
Heather has been married to her husband for 23 years and has three children who share her love for the great outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring new places with them. She believes that becoming a mother is one of life’s greatest gifts, and she is honored to be a part of that journey for other women.
    In a world of choices, it's helpful to have a support person that can help you clarify what your specific goals are. Heather enjoys truly getting to know you and your partner prenatally and talking about how you envision your birth, as well as those first weeks at home.  She offers educational, physical, and emotional support both during pregnancy, throughout the labor process, and into the postpartum journey.  Once you begin your life at home with your new little one, Heather can help that adjustment go as smoothly as possible, from diapering, to bath time, to what carrier can best meet your needs, she will work with you and help you have the best transition possible.  Oftentimes, it can feel overwhelming to manage a new person, especially on limited sleep, and Heather will be there beside you, encouraging and supporting the decisions you make for your new baby.  The transformation of a woman into a mother is one of life's greatest gifts, and you deserve experienced support on your journey.  You will feel completely confident in your new parenting role and surrounded with all the resources you need with Heather's encouragement and expertise.

Fees:
Birth: $1250
Birth and Postpartum Bundle: Full pregnancy and labor support as well as 12 hours of postpartum doula care to be used in the first 2 weeks at home. $1650
​Postpartum: $40 

The birth fee covers 2 prenatal appointments, unlimited support via text and email during your pregnancy, continuous labor support and 1 postpartum check in.

 The Postpartum fee is hourly and covers in home education and support on sleep, feeding, bathing, laundry, nutrition, postpartum mood disorder screening, and any other concerns you may have.  Heather has an extensive local list that she can draw upon to connect you with additional resources as needed.
