Tabitha Morgan

Tabitha Morgan is a Dona Trained birth doula; she attends home, hospital, and birth center births.  Tabitha is the owner of Heritage Doula Services and has supported families as a Doula since 2018 and supported in birth and lactation since 2009.  She is committed to providing families with professional, compassionate, and personal support. Tabitha gives 100% in all she does in life and brings this commitment and passion to every aspect of her work as a doula. Tabitha has had the reputation of being a kind, calm, and compassionate person for as long as she can remember.  She has always cared deeply for people and strives to support and care for all around her.  She has worked with children and families since she was a teen and supported families in the role of a nanny, mother's helper, CNA, inpatient and outpatient nurse, doula, and postpartum support.  Tabitha is truly a lifelong learner.  Once interested in birth she read every book she could get her hands on and took special training through DONA International to become a doula.  She loves to learn and is committed to sharing her vast knowledge with the families she works with. Tabitha is kind, caring, informed, nonjudgmental, professional, and completely committed to the families that she has the honor of supporting.  Tabitha would be an incredible addition to your birth team.


Hi, I am Tabitha Morgan, I love every aspect of birth.  I love the puzzle it can be to find the perfect position for labor and birth, I love the late nights and early mornings, the first little squeal of a new baby, and unlocking the intricacies of breastfeeding and newborn care.  I have five great kids and an amazing supportive husband; we live on a micro-farm in Boise and if I am not busy teaching my kids, attending a birth, or enjoying the outdoors of Idaho I am in my garden or cooking meals from our little farm and garden!  I love supporting natural labor, but am also very comfortable and educated in the medical side and understand the need for occasional medical intervention when needed!  I love educating and advocating for my clients and find it a privilege and honor to take the fear out of the unknown with careful calm explanations of procedures, medication, and interventions.
